It has faculties of arts, engineering, medicine, agriculture, law, dentistry, education, pharmacy and pharmaceutical science, science, graduate studies and research, business, and physical education, as well as schools of library science, nursing, home economics, rehabilitation medicine, and native studies. The Boreal Institute for Northern Studies supports research in the circumpolar regions.
