Jawaharlal Nehru


Nehru, Jawaharlal (jəwähərlälˈ nāˈrō, nĕˈ–) [key], 1889–1964, Indian statesman, b. Allahabad; son of Motilal Nehru. A politician and statesman of great skill, Nehru was enormously popular in India.
