Mikhail Mikhailovich Ippolitov-Ivanov

Ippolitov-Ivanov, Mikhail Mikhailovich (mēkhəyēlˈ mēkhĪˈləvĭch ēpəlyēˈtəf-ēväˈnəf) [key], 1859–1935, Russian composer; pupil of Rimsky-Korsakov at the Moscow Conservatory. His work best-known outside Russia is the suite Caucasian Sketches (1894).
