Ebed-melech (ēbĕdˈ-mēlĕkˈ, ēˈbĕd-mēˈ–) [key] [Heb., = king's slave], in the Bible, King Zedekiah's Ethiopian eunuch, through whom Jeremiah was freed from prison. The name may be a title.
