Cervantes Saavedra, Miguel de (sərvănˈtēz, Span. mēgĕlˈ dā thĕrvänˈtās säˌävāħrä) [key], 1547–1616, Spanish novelist, dramatist, and poet, author of Don Quixote de la Mancha, b. Alcalá de Henares.
