EncyclopediaKaminaKamina (kämē'nä) [key], city (1984 pop. 171,008), Katanga province, S Congo (Kinshasa). It is an administrative and transportation center. A major military airfield is located there. Kamina was used by the Belgians as a center for interventionist actions in the early months of the Congo's independence (1960).
