Iztaccihuatl

Iztaccihuatl, Ixtacihuatl,or Ixtaccihuatl (all: ēs"täsē'wätul) [key][Aztec,=white woman], dormant volcano, 17,342 ft (5,286 m) high, central Mexico, on the border between Puebla and Mexico state. Irregular in outline, and snowcapped, it is also popularly known as the Sleeping Woman.
