Harim

Harim (hā'rim) [key], in the Bible. 1. Family of priests in the return from the Exile. An alternate form is Rehum. 2. Another family of priests in the return from the Exile. 3. Priest, probably the ancestor of (sense 2.) 4. Family of laymen in the return from the Exile. 5. Father, or family, of a repairer of the wall of Jerusalem, probably the same as (sense 1,) (sense 2,) or (sense 4.)
