Kenhelm's dwelling.
Richmond Castle (York), belonging to the Saxon earl
Edwin, given by the Conqueror to his nephew Alan, Earl of Bretagne; a
ruin for three centuries. The keep remains.
Rochester Castle, given to Odo, natural brother of the Conqueror.
