Leaden Hall
(pronounce leden), so named from the ancient manor of
Sir Hugh Neville, whose mansion or hall was roofed with lead, a notable
thing in his days. “Leadenhall Street” and “Leadenhall Market,” London,
are on the site of Sir Hugh's manor.
