Gizzard

Don't fret your gizzard. Don't be so anxious; don't worry yourself. The Latin stomachus means temper, etc., as well as stomach or “gizzard.” (French, gésier.)

That stuck in his gizzard.
Annoyed him, was more than he could digest.
