Gimlet Eye

(g hard). A squint-eye; strictly speaking, “an eye that wanders obliquely,” jocosely called a “piercer.” (Welsh, cwim, a movement round; cwimlaw, to twist or move in a serpentine direction; Celtic, guimble.)
