In the Black Dwarf, by Sir Walter Scott, are seven of
that name, viz. Halbert or Hobbie Elliot, of the Heugh-foot (a
farmer); Mrs. Elliot, his grandmother; John and Harry, his brothers;
and Lilias, Jean, and Arnot, his sisters.
