ArthegalUterine brother of Prince Arthur. Spenser, in his Faerie Queene (book iii.), makes Britomart see his person and name in the magic glass. She falls in love with the looking-glass hero, and is told by Merlin that she will marry him, and become the mother of a line of kings that would supersede both of the Saxons and Normans.
