Grammy Award-winning songwriter, producer, and singer who is considered one of the most powerful behind-the-scenes players in the music industry. He is known for writing silky, romantic ballads, 20 of which have topped the Billboard charts, and has collaborated with Eric Clapton, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. His label, LaFace, boasts platinum artists Toni Braxton and TLC. Babyface produced Boyz II Men's chart-topping End of the Road (1992). His solo recordings include Lovers (1987) and Tender Lover (1989).
