Bob Dylan (Robert Allen Zimmerman) singer, songwriter Born: 5/24/1941 Birthplace: Duluth, Minnesota
Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for his angry folkrock protest songs and his harsh delivery. Dylan is one of the seminal figures of modern music and a pioneer in folk-rock and country-rock. His recordings include “The Times They Are a-Changin'” (1964), “Like a Rolling Stone” (1965), “Knockin' on Heaven's Door” (1973), Blood on the Tracks (1975), and Time out of Mind (1997). He appeared in the films Don't Look Back (1967) and Hearts of Fire (1987). His son is singer Jakob Dylan.
