Qaqortoq

Qaqortoq (kä'kôrtôk") [key], formerly Julianehåb (yOOlyä'nuhôp") [key], town (1996 pop. 3,176), Qaqortoq dist., SW Greenland. It is a fishing port with canneries. Sheep raising, meatpacking, and sealing are other significant industries.
