Pul-i-Khumri or Pol-e Khomri (both: pool-i-khoomrē') [key], town, capital of Baghlan prov., central Afghanistan. It is a trading center and a stopping place for trucks and caravans traveling to N Afghanistan and the Central Asian Republics.
