Parramatta

Parramatta pârˌəmătˈə [key], city (2016 pop. 226,149), New South Wales, SE Australia, a suburb of Sydney, on the Parramatta River. It is the regional center for the western suburbs of Sydney. Founded in 1788, it is the second oldest settlement in Australia.
