Keetmanshoop

Keetmanshoop kētˈmäns-ho͝opˌ [key], town (1991 pop. 15,032), SE Namibia. It is the trade center for a region where karakul sheep are raised. Keetmanshoop was founded in 1866 as a German missionary station.
