Hódmezővásárhely

Hódmezővásárhely (hôd'mezövä"shärhā) [key], city (1991 est. pop. 51,180), SE Hungary, near the Tisza River. An agricultural center, it also produces machinery, textiles, and pottery. The city has many churches.
