Higashiosaka (hēgä'shēōsä'kä) [key], city (1990 pop. 518,319), Osaka prefecture, W central Honshu, Japan, on the Onii River. It is a residential and industrial suburb of Osaka. It produces electrical appliances, machinery, and paper.
