Chindwinn

Chindwinn (chin'dwin) [key], river, c.550 mi (890 km) long, rising in the hills of N Myanmar and flowing generally S into the Ayeyarwady (of which it is the chief tributary) at Myingyan. It is an important commercial waterway.
