Avacha

Avacha (uvä'chu) [key]or Avachinskaya Sopka (uvä'chinskīu sôp'ku) [key], active volcano, 8,965 ft (2,733 m) high, Russian Far East, on S Kamchatka peninsula. It has a permanent snow cap.
