Laguna (lugOO'nu) [key], pueblo, Valencia co., central N.Mex.; established on its present site 1699. Its inhabitants are Pueblo of the Keresan linguistic stock, and many farm in outlying areas. The pueblo is used essentially for ceremonial purposes.
