Camarillo

Camarillo kăˌmərēˈyō [key], city (2020 pop. 70,741), Ventura co., S Calif.; inc. 1964. It is the center of a fertile farm area where citrus fruits and flowers are grown. Camarillo also has electronic and aerospace industries as well as manufacturing plants. The city has grown significantly since the 1970s along with the southern California area. St. John's College and California State Univ. Channel Islands are located there.
