Trotsky, Leon

Trotsky, Leon (trot'skē, Rus. lā'un trôt'skē) [key], 1879–1940, Russian Communist revolutionary, one of the principal leaders in the establishment of the USSR; his original name was Lev Davidovich Bronstein.
