EncyclopediaOh, SadaharuOh, Sadaharu (sä"dähär'OO ō) [key], 1940–, Japanese baseball player. A first baseman for the Tokyo Giants, he retired after 22 seasons with a lifetime total of 868 home runs, outpacing the American major-league record (currently held by Barry Bonds).
