EncyclopediaHuber, RobertHuber, Robert (hOO'bur) [key], 1937–, German biochemist. After receiving his doctorate at Munich Technical Univ., he worked both there and at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry. With Hartmut Michel and Johann Deisenhofer, Huber developed a process that used X-ray technology to determine the structure of large molecules.
