Chiabrera, Gabriello

Chiabrera, Gabriello (gäbrē-el'lō kyäbre'rä) [key], 15521638?, Italian poet. He adapted classical forms to Italian verse and wrote graceful lyrics in the manner of Anacreon. Wordsworth translated some of his verse.
