Leelee Sobieski was a star of feature films and TV shows of the mid-1990s and early 2000s. She's known best for her roles in the 1999 films Eyes Wide Shut (opposite Tom Cruise) and Never Been Kissed (with Drew Barrymore). Leelee Sobieski started appearing on television in 1993 and in films in 1997, making her big screen debut in Jungle 2 Jungle. She was nominated for an Emmy award for her performance in the CBS production of Joan of Arc (1999), and she appeared in the feature films Deep Impact (1998, with Elijah Wood), Joy Ride (2001), The Glass House (2001) and The Wicker Man (2006). Leelee Sobieski married fashion designer Adam Kimmel in 201o, and they have two children: Louisianna (born 2009) and Martin (b. 2014). Sobieski left acting in 2012 to raise her children and concentrate on a career as a painter. She paints under the name of Leelee Kimmel.
