Afterwards she built a career as a soft-focus romantic actress until her surprising success as a plucky frontier doc in the hit TV series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993-98). Extra credit: Yes, Jane Seymour was also the name of Henry VIII's third wife. The two Janes are unrelated...
