Born: 23 January 1985 Birthplace: Oostermeer, The Netherlands Best known as: The Dutch supermodel who's the face of L'Oreal cosmetics Doutzen Kroes is a Dutch model best known for her appearances for the lingerie shop Victoria's Secret. Blonde and blue-eyed with just a hint of Teutonic princess, she has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle, and W magazines, among many others. Vogue.com named her Model of the Year in 2005 after a vote of users; the same year she made her first appearance in the annual Victoria's Secret televised fashion show, as well as the company's lingerie catalogue. She became the spokesmodel for Calvin Klein's perfume Eternity in 2005, and signed on as the official face of L'Oreal cosmetics in 2006.
