WEBER, John Vincent (Vin), a Representative from Minnesota; born in Slayton, Murray County, Minn., July 24, 1952; attended the public schools; attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, 1970-1974; copublisher, Murray County newspaper; president, Weber Publishing Co.; press secretary to Representative Tom Hagedorn, 1974-1975; senior aide to Senator Rudy Boschwitz, 1977-1980; delegate, Minnesota State Republican conventions, 1972, 1978; elected as a Republican to the Ninety-seventh and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1981-January 3, 1993); was not a candidate for renomination in 1992 to the One Hundred Third Congress; is a resident of St. Cloud, Minn.
