Ed., Temple University, Philadelphia, Pa., 1988; rehabilitation therapist manager; member, Bald Eagle, Pa., school board, 1990-1995; unsuccessful nominee for Pennsylvania state house of representatives, 1998, 2000; chairman, Centre County Republican Party, 2002-2008; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eleventh and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2009-present).
