THOMAS, Robert Lindsay, a
Representative from Georgia; born in Patterson, Pierce County, Ga.,
November 20, 1943; graduated from Patterson High School, Patterson,
Ga., 1961; B.A., University of Georgia, Athens, Ga., 1965; Georgia
National Guard, 1966-1972; investment banker; farmer; elected as a
Democrat to the Ninety-eighth and to the four succeeding Congresses
(January 3, 1983-January 3, 1993); was not a candidate for
renomination to the One Hundred Third Congress in 1992; is a
resident of Atlanta, and Savannah, Ga.
