TELFAIR, Thomas, (son of
Edward Telfair), a Representative from Georgia; born in Savannah,
Ga., March 2, 1780; was graduated from Princeton College in 1805;
studied law; was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in
Savannah, Ga.; elected as a Republican to the Thirteenth and
Fourteenth Congresses (March 4, 1813-March 3, 1817); died in
Savannah, Ga., February 18, 1818; interment in Bonaventure
Cemetery.
