SHERMAN, Brad, a Representative from California; born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif., October 24, 1954; attended Mark Kepple High School, Alhambra, Calif., and Corona del Mar High School, Newport Beach, Calif.; B.A., University of California, Los Angeles, Calif., 1974; J.D., Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Mass., 1979; lawyer, private practice; Certified Public Accountant; member, California State Board of Equalization, 1990-1995, chair, 1991-1995; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Fifth and to the seven succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1997-present).
