Ohio, 1989-2000; member of the Ohio state house of representatives,
2000-2004; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Ninth
Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the
resignation of United States Representative Rob Portman and
reelected to the three succeeding Congresses (August 2,
2005-present).
