Paul RYAN

RYAN, Paul, a Representative from Wisconsin; born in Janesville, Rock County, Wis., January 29, 1970; graduated from Joseph A. Craig High School, Janesville, Wis.; B.A., Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, 1992; construction business; aide to United States Senator Robert Kasten of Wisconsin, 1992; staff assistant, Empower America, 1993-1995; legislative director for United States Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas, 1995-1997; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Sixth and to the six succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1999-present); chair, Committee on the Budget (One Hundred Twelfth Congress).
