1974; business owner; banker; rancher; member, St. Elizabeth, Mo.,
board of trustees, 1978-1987; member of Missouri state house of
representatives, 1999-2005; unsuccessful candidate for Missouri
state treasurer, 2004; director, tourism commission of Missouri,
2006-2008; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eleventh and
to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2009-present).
