JAMES, Craig T., a
Representative from Florida; born in Augusta, Richmond County, Ga.,
May 5, 1941; graduated, Deland High School, Fla., 1959; B.S.,
Stetson University, 1963; served in the National Guard and United
States Army Reserve, 1963-1969; J.D., Stetson University law
School, 1967; admitted to the bar the same year and commenced
practice in Deland; commissioner, Deland Housing Authority,
1971-1975; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred First and One
Hundred Second Congresses (January 3, 1989-January 3, 1993); was
not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Third Congress;
is a resident of Deland, Fla.
