Representative from Missouri; born in Harrisonville, Cass County,
Mo., October 13, 1960; graduated from Archie High School, Archie,
Mo., 1979; B.S., University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo., 1983; M.S.,
University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Mo., 1992; teacher;
farmer; business owner; member of the Missouri state house of
representatives, 1995-2001; chairperson, Missouri Women’s
Council, 2005; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth
Congress (January 3, 2011-present).
