HALL Durward Gorham , a Representative from Missouri; born in Cassville, Barry County, Mo., September 14, 1910; graduated from Greenwood High School at Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, Mo., 1926; A.B., Drury College, Springfield, Mo., 1930; M.D., Rush Medical College, Chicago, Ill., 1934; physician; United States Army, Office of the Surgeon General; United States Army Reserve, 1955; delegate, Republican National Convention, 1964; elected as a Republican to the Eighty-seventh and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1961-January 3, 1973); was not a candidate for reelection to the Ninety-third Congress in 1972; co-founder and member of board of trustees, Uniformed Services, University of Health Sciences, Bethesda, Md., 1973-1981; faculty, Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Fla.; died on March 15, 2001, in Albany, Ore.
