DRIEHAUS, Steve, a Representative from Ohio; born in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, June 24, 1966; graduated from Elder High School, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1984; B.A., Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, 1988; M.P.A., Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., 1995; community outreach program director; peace corps volunteer; member of the Ohio state house of representatives, 2001-2008; minority whip, Ohio state house of representatives, 2005-2007; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Eleventh Congress (January 3, 2009-January 3, 2010); unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Twelfth Congress in 2010.
