CHASE, Samuel, a Representative from New York; born in Cooperstown, N.Y., birth date unknown; district attorney of Otsego County, 1821-1829; elected as an Adams candidate to the Twentieth Congress (March 4, 1827-March 3, 1829); died in Richfield, Otsego County, N.Y., August 3, 1838.
