Arsenal Technical High School, Indianapolis, Ind.; B.A., Concodia
University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wis.; M.B.A., Indiania Wesleyan
University, Marion, Ind.; marketing representative; state alcohol
license compliance officer; member of the Indianapolis/Marion
City-County Council, 2007-2008; elected as a Democrat to the One
Hundred Tenth Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy
caused by the death of United States Representative Julia Carson,
and re-elected to the two succeeding Congresses (March 11,
2008-present).
