BURGESS, Michael C., a Representative from Texas; born in Rochester, Olmsted County, Minn., December 23, 1950; B.S., North Texas State University, Denton, Tex., 1972; M.S., North Texas State University, Denton, Tex., 1976; M.D., University of Texas Medical School, Houston, Tex., 1977; M.S., University of Texas, Dallas, Tex., 2000; physician; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eighth and to the four succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2003-present).
