BLACK, Diane, a Representative from Tennessee; born in Baltimore, Md.; January 16, 1951; A.S.N., Anne Arundel Community College, Arnold, Md., 1971; B.S.N., Belmont University, Nashville, Tenn., 1992; nurse; nonprofit community organization fundraiser; member of Tennessee house of representatives, 1999-2005; member of Tennessee state senate, 2005-2010; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth Congress (January 3, 2011-present).
