Steve McNair Biography

Steve McNair played quarterback for the Tennessee Titans for 11 years. He was drafted by the team as the third pick in the 1995 NFL draft after attending college at Alcorn State, a historically Black university in Mississippi. McNair was a great all-around athlete in high school, playing baseball and basketball, and running track to go along with football. Over the course of his NFL career, he made the Pro Bowl three times and shared the MVP award (with Peyton Manning) in 2003. On July 4, 2009, McNair's dead body was found in a condominium in Nashville, lying next to the body of Sahel Kazemi, his 20-year-old mistress. Police ruled McNair's death a homicide; he was 36 years-old.
